I am a third-year doctoral candidate in marketing at the Rotterdam School of Management.
My specialization is consumer behavior, and I am very much interested in the concept of technology and how it affects the way consumers behave. As a side research interest, I also study moral behavior.
I completed my undergraduate studies (BSc) in Management at Bilkent University with a major in marketing & innovation and a minor in social psychology. I graduated cum laude in 2017 from Erasmus University's research master (MPhil) program with a specialization in marketing.
Research can take you to many places. Mine has taken me to Rotterdam (where I currently live), Vancouver (University at British Columbia), and Ithaca (Cornell University). I am looking forward to adding more to the list!
If I am not working, I like reading, singing, painting, and taking photos. Sometimes I also dare myself to do things that I've never tried like stand-up comedy about consumer behavior. In case you have too much time in your hands, here is its link: Science Upside Down.
